Blissful Guidance

My name is Amber Brown and I am a licensed therapist in the state of Texas. I have been in the mental health field since 2013 where I started out doing community work for an after school program. This led me to further my education at Lubbock Christian University where is graduated with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While being a full time student, I also worked as a QMHP for children and adolescents who struggled with different mental health concerns who came from low income homes. After graduation, I moved to DFW where I worked in foster care then transitioned to working inside a child/adolescent/geriatric psychiatric hospital. My heart has led me to do this line of work for the simple fact that I strive to led a hand up, not a hand out. We as humans strive for meaningful relationships and it starts with being able to understand/love ourselves to accept the love/understanding from others.
